Meet Michael—scholar, editor, and all-around metaphysical enthusiast! When a Near-Death Experience at age thirty-five transformed her life path, she dove headfirst into spiritual and paranormal studies, got Masters degrees in religious studies and metaphysics, and later earned a PhD in metaphysical parapsychology.

 

These days, Michael's passion project is helping fellow authors shine. As a freelance editor, she's worked her magic on over 100 manuscripts—everything from spiritual nonfiction to training guides for lightworkers and healers to business books on practical wisdom and empowerment. She's an ordained minister, evidential medium, and energy healing practitioner.

Reverend Terry

Meet Rev. T, retired New Thought Minister (Centers for Spiritual Living), scholar, teacher, spiritual director, and closet monastic.  His CV is unique in that he has a background in Philosophy, Theology, Sacred Scripture and Monastic Spirituality, having begun his career in religion as a Roman Catholic monk at thirteen years of age. His foundation is a broad-based and focused in Christianity. His passion is teaching. He was the head of Religious Studies at a Roman Catholic College before moving into New Thought ministry.  He was also involved in the formation, mentoring, and licensing of over twenty currently active ministers. He currently serves as a Hospice Chaplain specializing in “End of Life” care and issues around grief and loss.

An avid sailor, he spends at least seven months of the year on his Ontario 32’, Windbourn II cruiser.

Raised in Minnesota among a long line of book lovers, Alexis (she/her) has been captivated by stories for as long as she can remember. They became her gateway to everything—comfort and discomfort, different realities and worldviews, intense emotions and the vast unknown.

After earning her B.A. from Tufts University, Alexis had an important realization: she loved editing even more than writing. She headed west to work for a New York Times bestselling author in Colorado and never left.

These days, Alexis wears many hats—editor, hypnosis practitioner, and creative explorer. Her purpose? Celebrating interconnectedness and paying attention to those telling goosebumps moments. Always passionate about stories and the magical doorways they open to readers, she has transformed her love of writing to editing, helping authors manifest the stories they wish to tell and amplifying their own voices.

 

Rachel developed her eye for editing through many avenues, such as teaching college rhetoric, serving as an associate editor for Iron Horse Literary Review, and working as an academic advisor. She also obtained her Certificate of Editing through the University of Chicago to advance her editing approach and to sharpen her technique of guiding authors. Through these experiences, she homed in on the significance that everything we express is an argument, and through our words, we have the power to fight for what is right and to tell the stories that connect us to what it means to being human.

Elle's fascination with religion and spirituality isn't just academic—it's personal. From studying the world's major religions to visiting countless spiritual centers, she's spent years immersing herself in how people find meaning, connection, and transformation. She recently welcomed 2026 at Meiji-jingu in Tokyo, experiencing the Saitan-sai New Year's blessing—just one example of her ongoing quest to understand how the sacred shows up across cultures.

 

As a trans woman, Elle brings lived experience and deep commitment to LGBTQ+ stories—particularly those exploring the intersection of spirituality, identity, and transformation. She understands firsthand the courage it takes to tell your truth, and she's passionate about amplifying queer voices in the spiritual and metaphysical publishing space. Based in New York City, she has worked in the publishing industry for years and is now turning her expertise to editing, helping authors express their unique voice and vision with authenticity and power.
